Denny Blaine & Madrona

South of Madison and Washington Park are the beautiful neighborhoods of Denny Blaine and Madrona. Many of the homes in this area are of similar early 1900’2 vintage to Washington Park though some are on slightly smaller lots. The area is home to several of Seattle’s sought-after private schools including Epiphany and The Bush School. These East Seattle neighborhoods are close to Lake Washington and many homes offer views of the lake and of Bellevue or Mount Rainier. Madrona features a cute business district located on 34th Avenue East that includes some of Seattle’s coveted restaurants as well as several small shops and boutiques. The original Glassybaby studio and store is located just off 34th where visitors can watch glassblowers create the famous Glassybaby candleholders and drinkware.
