Welcome to Washington Park

Picturesque streets lined with tall trees lead to some of Seattle’s most notable residences in this neighborhood in east central Seattle. Named after the Arboretum and park to its northwest, Washington Park is home to many historic homes including one from 1907 that houses the President of the University of Washington. Many of these classic homes have been updated, mostly in keeping with their original, historic grandeur. Sprinkled amongst the early 1900s homes are several equally impressive newer residences, in both classic as well as modern styles, and equally coveted for their architectural significance. A number of the residences on the more easterly streets of Washington Park offer sweeping views of Lake Washington and the Bellevue skyline. Washington Park is also home to the Seattle Tennis Club and is within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, and beach of Madison Park.
